Dear Brother and Sister in Christ,
May the Peace and Love of Christ be upon you.
Couples for Christ (CFC) Regina would like to invite your children ages 4 to 12, in an extraordinary weekend retreat that will serve as a formal entry point for them to be members of the CFC Kids for Christ. Spiritual support shall be given to these kids after the camp through once a month general assemblies, quarterly activities and regular one-on-ones with their Couple coordinators who are parents themselves.
The camp is designed for the kids to have fun and at the same time hear and experience the Word of God being proclaimed by the CFC Youth for Christ (YFC) servants in ways that they can appreciate. Having the Youth group handle the camp allows the kids to have somebody they can relate and look up to as role models.
The components of the camp include talks, discussion/sharing groups, games, crafts and outdoor activities. It is our outmost desire to create friendship and love among the kids and instill in them the values that families strongly need. Lastly, this camp aims to discover and encourage the kids to develop their talents/gifts and be potential leaders as they get exposed to their peers and to the youth who are actively serving them as speakers, facilitators, and coordinators.
We ask for your involvement in the retreat as there will be a parent-child dialogue. Details on this will be coordinated to you. The camp will be held at RiverPark Campground, Lumsden located across from the RCMP Depot in Lumsden.
